Investment Casting
The use of wax patterns allows investment casting to capture fine details, enabling the production of components with complex features and tight tolerances, often reducing the need for additional machining. This method is particularly suitable for industries requiring precise and durable parts, such as aerospace, automotive, and medical sectors.
Additionally, investment casting is highly flexible, supporting both small-batch and large-scale production. Whether you need prototypes, custom designs, or specialized components, this process ensures consistent quality and reliability, making it a trusted solution for high-performance metal parts tailored to your needs.

High-Precision Dimensional Control and Tight Tolerance Enforcement
Water Glass Casting: Suitable for customers with medium-to-high precision requirements, it can achieve linear tolerances of ISO 8062 CT7-CT8. It is suitable for applications requiring a high balance between cost and precision, such as excavator bucket teeth, truck components, and agricultural machinery accessories.
Silica Sol Casting: Targeted for applications requiring high precision and surface quality, it can achieve internal diameter tolerances of ISO 8062 CT4-CT6. It is widely used in stainless steel castings, medical device components, and automotive precision structural parts.
Excellent Surface Quality and Post-Processing Optimization
Water glass casting: Achieves an average surface roughness of Ra12.5, suitable for products with moderate aesthetic requirements but prioritized functionality. Silica sol casting: Achieves an excellent surface finish of Ra6.3. In high-end applications, this significantly reduces subsequent polishing, machining, and other processing steps, shortening overall lead times.
Strong Design Adaptability and Complex Structure Casting Capabilities
Wide Range of Material Adaptability
Stainless steel (such as 304, 316, 17-4PH), carbon steel (such as 45 steel, 20# steel), alloy steel (such as 42CrMo, 20CrMnTi), and aluminum alloy (such as ZL101, A356),ASTM A743 CA6NM material. This material diversity enables us to provide customers with optimal material matching solutions to meet the strength, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and other performance requirements under different working conditions.

Due to its excellent durability and corrosion resistance, stainless steel has become one of the most popular materials in investment casting production. At Leierwo, we can cast various types of stainless steel, including martensitic stainless steel, ferritic stainless steel, austenitic stainless steel, precipitation-hardened stainless steel, and duplex stainless steel.
Alloy steel castings are steel castings alloyed with elements such as molybdenum, manganese, nickel, chromium, vanadium, silicon, and boron. Precision-cast alloy steel parts offer enhanced strength, hardness, wear resistance, and toughness. Typical alloy steel grades for precision casting include AISI 4130, AISI 4140, AISI 8620, and AISI 8630.
Carbon steel is an investment casting material that primarily contains carbon as the main alloying element. It is cost-effective, readily available, strong, wear-resistant, and easy to machine. These advantages make it a popular material for investment casting. Common carbon steel grades for investment casting include AISI 1020, AISI 1030, AISI 1035, AISI 1045, AISI 1060, Q235, and Q345.
Nickel-based alloys are also widely used in investment casting, consisting mainly of nickel along with other alloying elements. Nickel-based alloy castings are known for their exceptional corrosion resistance and strength. Due to their outstanding heat resistance, they are commonly used in high-temperature environments.
In addition to advanced casting technology, we implement strict quality control measures, including material certification, dimensional inspection, mechanical property testing, and even non-destructive testing (NDT) when required. Furthermore, we are ISO and TS 16949 certified, ensuring that our high-quality castings meet or exceed customer expectations.

FAQ
We are a factory with over 20 years of experience in casting and machining. We have rich expertise in this industry. If you come across suppliers claiming to produce castings in a wide range of materials (such as steel, iron, stainless steel, copper, etc.), they are likely trading companies. If you see workshops actively producing parts, you can be assured that we are a genuine manufacturer.
Yes, as long as we receive CAD files or compatible 3D models that can be viewed with software like First Quote or Firstcut browser, we can provide a quotation. Please note that 2D drawings alone are insufficient for manufacturing precision components.
We support 3D CAD models from SolidWorks (.sldprt), ProE (.prt), and other CAD systems, commonly in IGES (.igs), STEP (.stp), ACIS (.sat), or Parasolid (.sat) formats.
We have an internal service system that responds to emails within 4 hours. If your request is urgent, please specify it in your email so we can prioritize your inquiry.
For rapid prototyping:
Silica sol casting: 20–30 days
Sand casting: 7–10 days
For mass production with machining included, the typical lead time is 45–60 days.
More complex parts may require a different delivery schedule.
Yes, we provide samples based on your drawings for you to confirm structure and quality. If the sample does not meet your requirements, we will replace it free of charge until it is qualified.
We accept T/T (bank transfer), Alipay, credit card, etc. Typically, we require a 30% down payment upon order confirmation and the remaining 70% before shipment. For custom parts with complex requirements, additional pricing terms may apply.
We have a comprehensive quality control system that covers every step, from raw material procurement to machining processes and final inspection. For critical components, we strictly follow drawing standards and customer specifications.
All customer data is kept confidential. Only trained engineers are authorized to handle production orders. Third-party inspection or factory audits are welcome, or you may use our in-house quality team for final inspection.
Yes, we guarantee that all materials used are 100% genuine and as specified.
We value long-term cooperation and support our customers’ production needs.
We believe every honest customer is a friend, and we treat our partnerships sincerely—building friendships and strong teams regardless of where our customers come from.
